Busbar Processing Machine User Instructions
To help users quickly master the functions of this equipment (operation, installation, operation, and maintenance), please carefully read the instruction manual before using this busbar machine. Before use, strictly adhere to the "Safety Operating Procedures" for this machine and the special precautions in this document. If you are unsure how to operate a busbar machine, do not make your own decisions. Always refer to the equipment manual for instructions and follow the correct instructions. If you still have questions, please contact the manufacturer's after-sales service. The manufacturer who purchased the equipment should keep the manual in a safe place for easy reference during operation. When transferring equipment, please attach the manual. For equipment manufactured in accordance with the laws and regulations of mainland China, please comply with Chinese safety regulations when used outside of China.
1. Operator Requirements: Personnel operating a busbar machine for the first time must receive strict safety training, and a qualified person in charge must be appointed. This person in charge has the following responsibilities: secure the keys to the electrical control box and tool box; check the machine's safety devices; supervise the replacement and adjustment of the punching, bending, and shearing dies; and take necessary measures if any abnormalities are detected. Inspections should be conducted before starting work to detect equipment malfunctions in advance. Once an abnormality is confirmed, necessary measures must be taken promptly or the manufacturer must be contacted to prevent an accident.
2. Modifications to busbar processing equipment are prohibited: Modifications to busbar processing equipment and control circuits are prohibited. Modifications to control circuits may cause equipment malfunctions. Modifications to PLC devices are prohibited. Modifications to hardware or software may cause equipment malfunctions.
3. Precautions Before Starting the Machine: Operators must be rigorously trained and proficient in operation and maintenance techniques. Work Clothing: Operators must avoid loose clothing or decorative items. Cuffs and waistbands must be tied tightly to avoid being dragged or drawn into the machine. Protective equipment such as hard hats, goggles, safety boots, and gloves should be used as needed. Note: The operating range must be set carefully considering the movement of the machine and busbars. Unauthorized personnel must remain within the operating range during operation, especially when repositioning or when longer busbars extend beyond the work surface. In such cases, unauthorized personnel could collide with the protruding busbars if not aware of the situation, potentially causing an accident. To prevent these problems, the use of protective devices such as safety fences and traction brackets is recommended. Always check the work before starting work. 4. When the busbar processing machine starts to operate, first confirm that there are no other workers or obstacles on the work surface and around it, and then start the machine. Operators must not sit, lie or lean on the machine. Before using the machine, make sure that the side panels, electrical control cabinet and other components are closed and intact before starting the machine. Operators should not frequently turn the machine on and off in a short period of time. 5. Operators should pay attention to the following during work: When replacing the die of the punching unit and shearing unit, please return it to the highest position, use the return button if necessary, then turn off the main power of the equipment and replace the die. There are six holes (50) on the workbench of the bending unit for placing vertical bending and fixing dies. When performing flat bending work, please use a special cover to seal it to avoid accidents. 1. The busbar processing machine consists of three moving parts: punching, shearing and bending. Lubricating oil must be added before each shift and each start-up. The moving parts of the busbar processing machine equipment should be kept clean. Before starting the machine daily, check the oil level and piping, and inspect the electrical equipment for any abnormalities. If any abnormalities are found, promptly rectify the problem before resuming operation.
2. The work surface and each unit must be lubricated and maintained before operation. The punching die must be lubricated every 50 cycles; the shearing die must be lubricated every 50 cycles; and the bending die must be lubricated every 50 cycles. Ensure that the mounting bolts of each unit and the bottom bolts of the oil cylinder are tightened.
3. Check the oil tank every three months to see if it needs to be refilled. When the level falls below or reaches the red line, add hydraulic oil. Use the specified grade (N46# in summer, N32# in winter) of anti-wear hydraulic oil.
4. No. 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil changes its properties in busbar processing machines every six months or after 5,000 to 20,000 hours of use, becoming more solid (dense). Generally, the oil should be changed after 5,000 hours of use or when the oil color turns brown-black. 5. If the busbar processing machine has not been used for an extended period (more than two weeks), clean and maintain all moving parts and refill with lubricant before restarting. After starting the machine, run it for 5-10 minutes and only resume operation if there are no abnormalities.
6. Check the oil tank level gauge regularly (every working day). If the busbar processing machine does not reach operating pressure after extended use, adjust the relief valve. To do this, loosen the locknut and turn the bolt clockwise to increase pressure, and vice versa to decrease it. Press the return button to the top dead center position and continue pressing until the pressure gauge indicator reads approximately 25 MPa (shearing pressure is 28 MPa, and bending pressure is adjusted to 16-20 MPa depending on the material being discharged). A test run will ensure normal operation. Tighten the locknut during operation. Daily maintenance of busbar processing machines is crucial. Many people, however, are often bored with maintenance and become lazy after a day's work. However, this is essential work. Regular maintenance will extend the lifespan of the busbar processing machine and prevent unnecessary problems during normal use.
6. Caution: High voltages are present inside the electrical control cabinet, which can cause fatal electric shock. When maintenance is required, first disconnect the factory's main power supply and then open the electrical control cabinet before proceeding. If a malfunction occurs during operation, immediately turn off the main power switch (i.e., set the air switch to "off") and contact the manufacturer immediately.
7. When multiple operators are required, please ensure that only those who have been rigorously trained and are experienced in the work are employed. When multiple operators are working, a call-and-answer system should be carefully implemented to ensure mutual confirmation of status to avoid accidents.
8. High-temperature Caution: When the busbar processing machine is operating, the hydraulic system piping, hydraulic cylinders, and other components can become very hot. Do not touch them.
